A lump of coal held over the stockpile

Our coal

Our coal ranges from GAR 3,400 to GAR 5,800 kcal/kg, serving a wide range of industrial and energy needs. We supply consistent, high-quality coal for power generation and other applications, tested to ISO/ASTM standards and in line with environmental regulations.

Reading the bases

ARB
As received: the coal as delivered, including all moisture.
ADB
Air-dried: after surface moisture has evaporated in the laboratory.
GAR
Gross as received: total heat released, including heat recovered from water vapour.
NAR
Net as received: usable heat after the energy lost to water vapour.
